Speech and Language Pathology

Lydia speech clinic services is a speech pathology service offering 1:1 sessions for families requiring speech and language therapy and assessment from 18months upwards. Speech therapy is available for private paying clients for all ages until 15 years of age, taking NDIS self managed ONLY and private health fund holders .

Expert Therapy

Offering 1:1 sessions for preschoolers getting ready for school readiness sessions in a warm clinic environment during the summer school holidays. Working closely with families and educators to achieve the child‘s communication goals at clinic childcare, kinder and at school .

Offering therapy for articulation , stuttering and literacy in a warm 1:1 fun and welcoming environm

Hanen trained More than Words therapy for Autism

Offering more than 24 years of expertise working with children with autism spectrum disorder and the Hanen Program More than Words strategies in therapy sessions! Working closely with parents and caregivers on the child's goals !

Due to the current long waitlist there is

No availability for appointments. This can re-open for assessments initially only in Term 1 of 2024 onwards to waitlist from that time. Please ring Speech Pathology Australia for a list of other speech pathologists in your area to call.

If your child displays cold and flu symptoms, pls cancel With 48 hours notice to avoid paying full fees.

PLEASE NOTE CURRENT WAITLIST FOR NEW REFERRALS are open only from Victorian school term 1 2024, end January onwards to waitlist. New assessment appointments to waitlist from then at this stage. Thank you.

Clinic days: W/ Thursdays/ alternate fridays only : 8:30am - 2:30pm ( NO mobile visits / NO After school hours available currently ,only via telehealth, we are fully booked for therapy until November of 2023. No After school appts. or no weekends .

Processes for COVID-19 For the clinic: (CLINICIAN, CLIENT AND CAREGIVER/PARENT TO SANTIZE HANDS UPON ENTERING AND TEMPERATURE TAKEN Please note that all parents have to be fully vaccinated and be wearing masks when entering clinic premises Our 50 MINS speech sessions are going to finish 5 minutes before the allocated time to enable us to thoroughly clean toys and items touched/used by their child to ensure the safety of the next child/family to use them and your personal hygiene purposes. If you or your family members have been exposed to COVID-19 through a family member or friend you need to comply with Australian Government rules and regulations. You need to self isolate and inform me 2 days in advance as much as possible and self isolate.
